Zermatt is a car-free alpine village at the base of the Matterhorn, home to Matterhorn Ski Paradise — the highest-altitude ski resort in Europe with skiing on both the Swiss and Italian sides. Access is via train from Geneva (no car needed).

Arrival
- Fly into Geneva (GVA)
- Train from Geneva → Zermatt (~3.5 hrs, round trip ~$124/person)
- Check into chalet, settle in
Days 2–3
Skiing — Matterhorn Ski Paradise
- 2 full days on the mountain (lift tickets ~$224/person for 2 days)
- Views of the Matterhorn from both Swiss & Italian sides
- Apres-ski at a mountain hut
Days 4–5/6
Zermatt Village — Dining & Drinking
- 2–3 days exploring the village, restaurants, bars
- Fondue/raclette night
- Optional: spa, hiking, sledding
